Established in 2018, ABODE is a boutique design firm that works on residential remodels and new construction. Architecture of the home, combined with the client's vision, begins the process of creating a home with personal aesthetic, functionality and sustainability. From concept to completion, ABODE works with local artisans and a trusted team to produce bespoke interiors. Every project is unique, and through communication and collaboration an authentic abode is created.  

 

Leslie Marley, founder of ABODE, builds on her California roots focusing on creating warm, inviting homes that are stylishly elegant. Natural elements, such as textured woods and stone, work simultaneously with modern and vintage pieces creating timeless spaces with personal style. Environmental design plays a key component in her work addressing the process and products used in all areas of the home. Prior to residential design, Leslie worked as an artist and educator. Being trained as an artist honed her interior design skills with a better understanding of color, light, perspective and scale. 

 

An Allied member of ASID and IDS, Leslie received a BA in Art History and a Certificate of Interior Design and Architecture from UCLA.
